

About the Author
Dr.Jack Kushner grew up in Alabama and attended Tulane University and the University of Sheffield in England where he earned a BA degree in History. He then attended the University of Alabama Medical School in Birmingham and spent a summer working at the Gorgas Tropical Medicine Laboratory in Panama. After obtaining an MD degree he went to George Washington University Hospital in Washington D.C. for a surgical internship and from there went to the University of Michigan Hospital for a surgical residency. Afterwards he volunteered to go to VietNam as a combat surgeon with the 91st Evacuation Hospital and spent six weeks at the 6th Convalescent Center at Cam Ranh Bay at the Malaria Hospital.
He was awarded the Bronze Star at the 91st Evacuation Hospital. Afterwards he went to the Wake Forest University Medical Center where he worked with Dr. Eben Alexander, Dr. Courtland Davis, and Dr. David Kelly in Neuurosurgery for four years. Afterwards he moved to Annapolis, Maryland where he set up a Neurosurgery practice.While practicing Neursurgery he attended the University of Maryland Global Campus and earned a Master’s Degree in Finance. Upon retiring from Neurosurgery he started a medical transcripton company in Bangalore, India. Later he invested in several start up companies and wrote books and medical articles for medical journals, and gave presentations at conferences in several different countries. He was awarded a Honorary Professorship at Cambridge in England and was inducted into the Hall of Fame at Oxford. Dr. Kushner was active in sailboat racing, tennis, and golf and won the world championship in ballroom dancing at Las Vegas at the World Dance O Rama.
